THE ART!
Modernity, the
internet... technology destroyed the charm that artists had.
In the past,
everything was new to the fans. People had, at most, clippings from magazines
and newspapers. The songs played on the radio. The record companies were full
of letters received. How about shows!? It was all a surprise to delight the
audience.
That is why in the
80s and 90s we have the construction of Kings and Queens of POP, Soul, Rock,
Latin POP and even Kings and Queens of Gospel. Today, with technology, there is
nothing else that generates the fan's expectation. The artist is always with
his face and his opinions on the internet.
Ex .: There is a
whole construction of the King of POP Michael Jackson and the Queen of POP
Madonna. There was a whole staff behind them. What you may or may not post in
newspapers/magazines, which program you should or should not go on, discloses
or not the tour set list. Speaking of touring, what is the new controversy that
Madonna would put on the next tour!? Nowadays, it doesn't have that anymore.
The artist may be good, but technology does not allow him to go further because
there is no longer that anxiety and expectation for the new.
Just like Gospel
Music. I will highlight the 90s, in which there was a plurality of sounds
placed on the albums. Today is all Worship... what a boring thing! The guy says
"Hallelujah" 55 times and thinks it's music.

Agora há pouco, decidi ser saudável.
Peguei um prato, corte uma banana, botei maca peruana e coloquei um resto de
granola que estava no pote. Misturei tudo e comecei a comer. Vem meu pai do
quarto e diz: "Essa granola ae estava com bicho. Eu esqueci de jogar
fora!"
Pelo menos tentei ser fit.

A modernidade, a internet... a
tecnologia destruiu o encanto que os artistas tinham.
Antigamente, tudo era uma novidade para
os fãs. As pessoas tinham, no máximo, recortes de revistas e jornais. Passavam
as músicas nas rádios. As gravadoras ficavam lotadas de cartas recebidas. E os
shows!? Era tudo surpresa para encantar o público.
Por isso que nos anos 80 e 90 temos a
construção de Reis e Rainhas do POP, do Soul, do Rock, do POP Latino e até Reis
e Rainhas Gospel. Hoje, com a tecnologia, não tem mais nada que gere a
expectativa do fã. O artista está o tempo todo com a cara e com suas opiniões
na internet.
Ex.: Há toda uma construção do Rei do
POP Michael Jackson e da Rainha do POP Madonna. Teve toda uma assessoria por
trás deles. O que pode ou não postar nos jornais/revistas, em qual programa
deveria ou não ir, divulga ou não o setlist da turnê. Falando em turnê, qual a
nova polêmica que Madonna colocaria na próxima turnê!? Hoje em dia, não tem
mais isto. O artista até pode ser bom, mas a tecnologia não o permite ir mais
longe porque não há mais aquela ansiedade e expectativa pelo novo.
Assim como a Música Gospel. Vou destacar
os anos 90, no qual houve uma pluralidade de sons colocados nos álbuns. Hoje é
tudo Worship... que coisa chata! O cara fala "Aleluia" 55 vezes e
acha que é música.
