Children today, bus drivers and public school!

That doubt between using Traditional or Renewed Pedagogy with a bunch of spoiled, ill-educated children. Children who feels right. Children who did not learn AT HOME the value of the words RESPECT, HIERARCHY and DISCIPLINE. Children who did not learn AT HOME the value of the YES, NO and WAIT. Children who did not learn AT HOME the value of slaps sometimes.

In my time, although not too far away (LOL – I am 28 yeras)), I do not remember STUDENTS challenging teachers. There was dialogue, respect and even fear of many. In my time we were still afraid to take warning. We were fear of parents being called. We were fear the possibility of the Coordinator or the Principal been called into the room.

Today is INVERTED!!! I have seen students DISCUSSING with masters. And the worst is analise parentes (or stupid parentes) doing nothing. On the contrary... they still take a trip to Disney, for instance.

And, please, do not come up with this prejudice that is 'public student'. This prejudice comes from when I was at FAETEC (one of the largest schools in Brazil). The bus drivers were terrified of taking public students. I was studying at FAETEC in Quintino and I remember that, to avoid a supposed mess, there was a limit of 3 to 5 students per bus. In Cascadura, he passed Santa Monica (a large private school). Was there a limit??? NOOOOO!!!
