Eduardo Leite is Gay! What Does This Change in Brazil's scial and poolitical scenari?

EDUARDO LEITE IS GAY!
WHAT DOES THIS CHANGE IN BRAZIL'S SOCIAL AND POLITICAL SCENARIO?

Last Thursday, July 1, 2021, the governor of Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo Leite, assumed his homosexuality in the 'Conversa com Bial' Program, to the astonishment of some and not much to others. For me, I get the first option.

And it is clear that the two extremist strands of our country raised their voices and began to speculate about such a decision to come out in public. In short, the two ends, which supposedly defend democracy and freedom of expression, have raised their voices to diminish, repress and oppress a citizen who has decided to 'come out of the closet'.

Left: “Wow! A gay Pocketnarista, who calls himself conservative. We will never forget that you stood up to defend Jair Messias Bolsonaro” – “It's politicking!”

Right: “I don't care what you do indoors. I want to know what you do in public administration!” – “It's politicking!”

In fact (1), the two flags had to use the voice they have to not only raise the flag, but also bring more people to their sides. But they do the opposite of what they preach. Right and left increasingly praise this extremist and corruptible bipolarism that exists in Brazil. The two wings, more and more, preach the division of society, the division of people, the division of classes. Instead of looking for a way to unite and fight for a better Brazil, instead of looking for a way to find the infamous 'common good', these extremes only cultivate the vicious bipolarism.

In fact (2), it should be a reason for 'pride', awareness and respect for 'everyone' for a politician, already within the system, to have the audacity to assume a live role for Brazil. Also because we live in a hypocritical country: artists raise the flag, talk about acceptance, but they themselves do not come out, they are ashamed, or worse, they are afraid of losing acting opportunities for having come out.

On at least one thing the extremes agree: that Eduardo Leite took over because of politicking. But what would be the (social, political) benefit of a politician assuming? Is it taking the focus away from bad management? Is it reaching another voter zone?

Ah... answering the question asked in the title of the text: I don't think it changes ANYTHING! Only his Instagram that rocked these last few days. otherwise... it's the rest.

What do you think?
Answer there...
