HOMOPHOBIA STILL EXISTS AND, MORE THAN EVER, IT MAKES NO SENSE!

Honestly, I don't understand how in 2025 anyone would still be bothered
by other people's sexuality. What difference does it make in your life if a man is
with another man and a woman is with another woman?
I assume that those who are bothered must
have one of these reasons:
1. A strong desire to come out, but lacks the
courage, because coming out also means giving up other things. Coming out means
losing positions, coming out means losing positions in the church (and it's
full of LGBT people), coming out means losing my title of 'asshole alpha male
jiu-jitsu teacher'. A person who is confident in who
they are doesn't worry about other people's sexuality.
2. Personal frustration, in family, at work, in love. A person who isn't
even successful (not just financially) doesn't waste time asking themselves: "Why is she/he LGBT?"
3. Completely "wrong" people. Some people don't even care
about their own families, but want to interfere in other people's lives. The
house is a mess, children go down wrong paths, fights with their parents... but
they think they have the right to give their opinion on other people's
sexuality.
Observation 01:
You being 15 years old and laughing when you see an LGBT person, for
example, with a black belt in a fight, I understand. But if you're already
experienced (in many ways) and still shocked by an LGBT person... it's, at the
very least, hypocritical, immature, and childish.
Observation 02:
We imagine that prejudice comes from straight men and the Christian
community. But prejudice can come from any 'sector of society.' And, worse,
prejudice comes from those we least expect. Can you analyze that person who is your 'friend,' who isn't Christian, who is bold*, forward-thinking, outspoken, and who frequents your house? Then, it's from this person that prejudice comes. It doesn't matter if they're Christian, a Candomblé follower, an Umbanda follower, a Buddhist, a man, straight, a saint, or a whore... prejudice exists in every 'sector of society.'
But the most important thing is to know who you are. If you know this,
no opinion or criticism matters. What matters is you and your relationship with
God. In fact, He is the only one who can judge us. No one on Earth has God's
power of attorney. No one here is the gatekeeper of heaven. And, it's worth
noting that God isn't anyone's henchman. So, focus on yourself and your
dreams/goals/plans.
