THE CYCLE OF BEAUTY AND SELF-ESTEEM

This is the natural cycle of things: When you have low self-esteem, you TEND to have relationships with ‘anyone’ (and I’m not just talking about sex). When you start taking care of yourself, studying, working, expanding your social circle, going to new places, and also start losing weight, ‘getting in shape’ and becoming less ugly, you TEND to be more selective, because your self-esteem increases. You will no longer accept being in the presence of just anyone (Again: I’m not just talking about sex. I’m talking about friendship, work, etc.). (Un)fortunately, this is the reality. Now, focusing on the love/sex issue: what the good-looking guys did to you, you start doing to others too. ‘Oh, Raphael! You’re getting sloppy!’ No! I’m sure many people think this way, but they don’t expose themselves. But you should, directly or indirectly, do the same thing.

 

Natural athlete Alfredo Neto participated in a podcast where he said he couldn't have a relationship with an 'out of shape' woman. In my utopian world, I was outraged and thought 'What about inner beauty!?'. But then I understood his point: the point is not to be FITNESS, to HAVE THE SHAPE. The point is to have the same goal. How are you going to have a relationship with someone who has nothing in common with you!? You train, you try to get better in every aspect... and the other person doesn't even go for a walk!? Again: the point here is not to have ripped abs and veins pulsing in the biceps (which is very nice to see). The point here is to BE CAREFUL.

 

It's worth mentioning: There is nothing more attractive than an intelligent person who sits down with you and the conversation flows. What's the point of having 'the shape' if you can't even tell the difference between BUT and TOO MUCH!? But we can't be hypocrites either! A beautiful, attractive, sensual person, just looking at them is good for you (lol).

 

Anyway... good morning and let's go for another week trying to be less ugly and not getting naked for anyone! After all, God created me intelligent, not sensual! Lol
